Joe Brown

Joe Brown is one of the youngest fisherman out of all his friends. Joe was born and raised in Dundalk, Maryland and fishing the upper and lower Chesapeake bay for the better half of his life. After his freshmen year of high school, Joe started working at the Fishin' Shop, a local tackle shop.  This is where Mark Hoos, Captain of Marli sport fishing took him under his wing and showed him the ropes.  From there, Joe Brown went on to mate on several Upper Chesapeake Bay charter boats such as of the Gloria Jean and the My Half out of Solomons, Maryland.

Joe and the crew of the Legal Hooker love to troll chum or bottom bounce bottom fish.

"We will do whatever it takes to make you have a successful fishing trip on the beautiful Chesapeake bay.  I am very thankful for everyone that has showed me the way & to help one of my best friends run a top-notch charter boat."

Jay

Jay has been fishing and hunting for almost 30 years. He grew up watching Bill Dance, Roland Martin, and Jose Wejebe.  He began fishing public reservoirs during his early childhood, exclusively targeting large mouth bass. In 2005, he purchased his first boat and began exclusively targeting Striped Bass in the Chesapeake Bay. He also enjoys fishing offshore for tuna, shark, billfish, drum, and cobia.  Jay has been fishing with Captain Scott for almost 10 years now which makes him an important part of the team!

When he can, he teaches his two young daughters (10 & 11 yrs old) how to fish and how to enjoy nature.

I have an "it ain't over till it's over" attitude and like teaching people how to fish.
